Youth Day rescheduled for Jan. 23Lumpkin County Sheriff Office’s Youth Day has been postponed to Saturday, January 23rd. The event will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Yahoola Creek Park. It will consist of skeet-shooting, hunter safety courses, fire safety course and squirrel hunting. Lunch will be provided and all kids age 6-18 are invited. Mandatory applications for participation are currently available at the sheriff’s office or any local school.
