Today I had a chance to join the Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce. It was a pleasure meeting with Gary Powers and explaning to him how I hope that dahlonega411.com can supplement the outstanding work the dahlonega.org website does.

This afternoon I took 25 rack cards and headed out into downtown Dahlonega to begin promoting the directory. Overall the welcome was warm and business owners seemed interested in the new directory. Some businesses even agreed to put the dahlonega411.com window stickers on their storefronts.

What a fitting title for the launch of this directory. Last week all the printing was finished and the site is almost completely setup. The directory is already showing on the first page of Google! We will be adding local companies this week to start filling the directory. I hope to see many of you […]
