We have made it to another new year in Dahlonega as part of its businesses and service organizations. I choose to believe we have past the bottom of the difficult time. I choose not to sit at the bottom and do nothing. I know the climb up will be hard and I will have to alter my course. But I can see that better things lay ahead. Real Estate sales in Lumpkin County have declined over the last couple of years, and especially in the last four months. But it seems to have leveled off, even if it is really low. Now is the time to BUY. The prices have fallen along with the sales. You can not get something for nothing. You will pay sooner or later. But you can get some great deals and have something to show for it. That’s what we want isn’t it? To feel good about what we accomplished.
