Today I had a chance to join the Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce. It was a pleasure meeting with Gary Powers and explaning to him how I hope that dahlonega411.com can supplement the outstanding work the dahlonega.org website does. What a beautiful winter day it was today. At least it is supposed to be winter but the temperature downtown was very mild.
I don’t know when I will plan the ribbon cutting but I will probably wait until the directory has quite a few more listings in it. I added 10 more listings today from the right hand side of the square. I will be out again tomorrow afternoon to visit with the businesses on the other side of the museum.
I hope to see all my Chamber members at the next monthly meeting. I plan to be an active player in our community and I cannot wait to meet you all and learn about your businesses. I hope that dahlonega411.com can provide even more exposure for your business like the Chamber’s site does. After all every possible referral could end in a sale.
Additionally I talked with Amy there at the Chamber and I am interested in teaching a seminar on how to get the best exposure on the Internet by linking with other local businesses and listing your business in as many directories as possible. That is one of the most important aspects to a good web marketing campaign. The more sites that link with you the higher your return will be as your site will be seen as popular.
If anyone is interested in co-teaching a technology based seminar for the members of the Chamber please call me and we can work together to improve everyone’s bottom line during these trying economic times. Call Phillip @ 678-920-0681
